Interesting story but the translation is a bit awkward and starting around chapter 18 you start losing parts of the chapter. I'm not a fan of piecing together the missing parts so I dropped it at chapter 24.

Would consider reading this but apperently not only is the translation bad but they also cut off parts of the chapters so idk if I feel like dealing with that sh*t.

Poison taste test: There a plenty of chunks missing from this novel in multiple chapters, it’s like ordering ribeye steak but the chef removes the bone and fat from it. I tried tracking down different complete chapters but they don’t seem to exist unless you read the MTL. Because of that I read the reviews (with spoilers) on the one website that shows updates for novels and I'm glad i stopped reading this novel at chapter 29. Since I basically read this novel “second hand”, which I rarely do, I won’t go into specifics; but there doesn’t seem to be much romance from what I read in that review section (some dudes typed out 3000+ word reviews, you can basically understand the whole plot). I started this novel for the romance but it seems like it starts VERY late into the novel, and sitting through this novel isnt worth the effort trying to understand a chopped up story that is missing alot of context. Just stick to the manhwa if that is how you found this novel, stack it.

The stories is the best... Im here as manhwa reader's. But have terrible translator. They cut chunk of each chapter after 20-24 ,use buinter (vinter/winter)an ngu-hye(lady) cuz its korean novel... cannot push my self read from this site anymore

i really like this novel , a really clever protagonist who plan's ahead , also the crown prince mann,

I was too impatient and had to read the novel but the translation was very bad and frustrating to read nevertheless I finished it. spoiler alert honestly I really liked Penelope personality and since she was treated poorly I never considered her actions wrong or unjust but god when it came to her relationship with Calisto I just couldn't stand her. specially in the later parts. She spent 5 years so far away and got herself in trouble and that poor Calisto was in constant fear because of her and as much as I want to think there was no compromising or finding the common ground she just did what she wanted most of the time and was really careless. So as much as I loved this novel the truth is the parts about emotional abuse, misunderstandings and the main plot of ancient Leila were good and well written but the author was not good at writing about romance and not many romantic scenes as well which was very disappointing. the romance was a 5/10 it felt as if author was forced to add it
