      Mmm well, basically there's a soft reset that happens every 200 chapters or so, and it never stops even at chapter 6k. The longest it goes without a "reset" is on the first arc, because it's the only time Li Qiye is technically still growing, but even there you still have them Those resets happen because he is already the strongest, he's always at the peak except for the start, a few chapters around 3k and by the end of the novel which is untranslated yet Since the only way for any story to be told is for him to go around trolling people, if they know how strong he is they will just get scared and he won't be able to do it. Which means that when he gets famous somewhere, he has to move somewhere else and become unknown again while hiding his strength. That's how those soft resets happen (in case you're wondering, the excuse is literally that he's just bored) As for wives, they might as well not exist tbh. They don't really appear at all except for a few mentions here and there

    The hardest part that shattered by Dao Heart was the complete story reset at 3k+. You can judge how strong my Dao Heart was that I was reading MTL at that point... Still that point shattered everything, it dawned on me how I hate resets and have made a vow in my heart to forever banish such arrogant young master authors from my life.

        Its a reset, plain and simple. Essentially an ending scenario takes place and the MC fails (yet again), resurrects in a new era, far far in the future, to starts from zero again. The landscape has completely changed so not even the world building content stays relevant. Just like how it has been foreshadowed that he has done so many times before. So author essentially against the norm made it so that the current incarnation is not the last, and forced us to go through one more cycle, as if the constant repetitions were not enough already. Who knows at 6k+ he chooses that this incarnation is as well not the last?

        Yo what that's funny asf. I read to like 1000 chapters before I realized it was going to be b*llsh*t, so I didn't encounter this sh*t. Why the f*ck are you guys still reading this sh*t? Is MC really that cool? You know the side characters don't have any content; they're just the same cookie cutter concept with different names. Props on the author finding a glitch in the system though, making money by just producing sh*t.
