Ruling Class Super Elite family that have prior knowledge of these Events. Very rich. Also apparently have good genetic, super athletic with max Dex, very smart too. Supportive parents and grandpa that part of OG true lineage. Now, compare that to an actual average Joe like you and me.

Still don't hold, I have supportive parents. The mc in comparison was only as lucky as government officials that were told about the coming ascension. I'll say it again he is only a part of the grimeblades in name only his grandfather being part of the main family is still not valid because it was stated that he was cast out and disowned for marrying a woman that his father didn't accept. the mc bloodline gene is also inferior to even regular grimblade family members. They wasn't a plus from the grimeblades existence in the novel other than them informing their family members about the summoned ascension was after that they became a shackle that are kept holding the mc back.

He still is better off than 99% of the rest of the world. His bloodline alone gives him better start than 99% of people. I would say that's S tier start as well. Since by the normal tier system if most novels S usually means top 99% of the world but others are at your level. SS usually there are only a few. And SSS there usually is only 1 in the world since they are so rare. His family I would consider to be an SS tier start.

What I'm trying to say is the mc head start could have made him just a bit stronger than regular people if not for his comprehension and risks he has taken, was he lucky? Yeah he was but luck only takes you so far and it only works out when you are prepared enough to seize that opportunity.

Let's lower that number shall we through critical analysis. Again I will say that mc is only slightly above memebers of the government that were aware of the summoned ascension. In the new world it was stated that the class system that they defer to is what bloodline you are a part of it was mentioned but we haven't gotten back to it yet in the novel because everyone is scrambling for power so they can't get a general system that work's everyone lives by. The MC can only be considered lower that normal Grimblade family members in comparison to regular people his starting line is high... But it's not really S tier at best it's B or B+. The mc bloodline only gave him a gene limit of what 50 while the best of Grimblade bloodline was in the hundreds that a huge disparities for someone that supposed to have an SS tier bloodline. It's the same logic as saying I'm only a bit stronger than a man with peak strength but the regular members of my family can blitz me in stats cause Im a half blood

The grimblade bloodline is a massive boon compared to no bloodline at all. The 50 extra limit is exponential with levels. Since they said the more stats you gain before each level the better off you are. Nobody but the three families have bloodlines. So right off the bat mc is above 99% of the world because they don't have the opportunity to get a better start like him. And that's what we were looking at his start. Even a world class athlete can't break the gene limits so having that limit broken immediately is massive. Since we see that 50 is far above what you can fight normally. Plus his family background allowed him to focus on school and hobbies till he got peak of humanity dex and where his compression came from. And because of his birth he got some knowledge of the other world beforehand which 90% of the world didn't. So I would maintain its a S tier start. While his family without the weakening is SS. Doesn't mean that's 100% right but what I believe based on what I've seen.

Its an agree to disagree moment but you are making sense but he wasn't peak of humanity his family could be considered upper class but not b*st*rd millionaire that can do what ever they want, more like modest upstarts that can living comfortable with out caring about the cost of living increasing every day, but that's besides the point. He only focused on hobbies with no real goal because he didn't have much ambition for anything it's no like he was handed it he still had to earn it like everyone else in that position through hard work. I'll still say his biggest boon was his comprehension which didn't stem from his bloodline. But even with everything you've said I'd only give him an A+ start because he's not still benefiting from his so called family even with the cumulative effect of a 50+ gene limit it still wouldn't be considered anything in the grand scheme of things sure he might have been stronger at the start but if it remained the same... Gap would have been closed inevitably.

That's not true. I want to see average Joe to achieve things too. Me and quite possibly majority of readers are average Guy. Sure MC need to have 1 or 2 non-overpowered rare quality just to slightly differentiate for others average, which they also have their own quality. What I want is for MC to capitalize in what little he have and crawl his way up. Not luck and free gift over and over and over, like majority of fantasy..

you're not an average Joe if you have some special quality about you that sets you apart from everyone else. That's kinda the whole point

Everyone have something in them. It doesn't have to be OP or extraordinary. Just something. MCs have ALOT and keep getting more for absolutely no good reason.

You seem not to understand mc has only gotten as far as he has because of two innate qualities, his intelligence and his comprehension. This is a power fantasy/ game like progression/ cultivation novel if you have an absurd level of comprehension you pretty much have an edge over people with God their talents all you need is a flexible mind and demonic will and you can pretty much do anything. That's how fang yuan got by although his also came from years of experience, but you can say that the system is literally spoon feeding the characters in the novel they aren't discovering things by them selves blindly, they are doing it while the system hold their hand.

Spoonfed. That exactly it. MCs are spoonfed by author. Also, for this particular novel, it's difficult to say MC have good comprehension. In the dungeon he did absolutely nothing. His judgement of diving into the lake was also stupid af.

Was it stupid it was either take the risk and clear the dungeon or stay behind and die from either thirst or a monster. One option presented no hope at all the other required you to take the initiative which the mc did. The mc does have good comprehension in comparison to other characters his mind is much more flexible we see this because of how far the mc has progressed compared to even big family memebers on the leader board with him staying firm with his decision to remain level 0 while they with the aid of their family bloodlines have already started leveling up. Someone who isn't smart enough to maximize his gains wouldn't be alive for as long as the mc on the same path. Bring out your other points let's go back and forth.

You can say his comprehension is good but not that he wasn't spoon fed. He was given a magic artifact that awnsers every question known to man for super cheap compared to how much the awnsers are worth. That artifact saved his life multiple times. He also found a dungeon that dropped common fragments far sooner than he should have boosting his progress by what the system determined to be 3 months of everyone else's progression. He got lucky to even find a dungeon with a compression at all to learn. Those are typical of any main character in light novels but that doesn't mean that it isn't being fed power by the author. A normal person in this novels world wouldn't have all those advantages. That doesn't make it a bad novel but the author didn't want to spend time in the low level story so he skipped it by feeding power to the mc.

I will agree the the author is giving the mc all this opportunity but it doesn't make it a bad novel. It would be a bad novel if he was just handed all of this as easily as breathing like those fantasy novel were mc master is the strongest person in the world his three wives are queens of nations and he just coincidentally bagged them because he was the first person to be nice to them then he found a dragon egg when he was a kid while playing in a lake. Here the mc actually has to put himself in ridiculous dangerous situation to get even half of that, that's what makes his progress much faster than everyone else in the world because by comparison he's doing far more dangerous and ridiculous sh*t than every other person and is being rewarded for it. For example the summoned ascension has only been on for barely 6 months and in that time the mc has nearly died more than the number of fingers and toes I have on my body.

I never said it was a bad novel. I said it wasn't a bad novel just because the author was power leveling the mc. The author didn't want to spend time writting about the mc struggling to obtain awnsers for every question so he added the magic artifact. Then he didn't want mc to struggle to gain fragments so he gave him them faster than everyone else. He power leveled past the beginning stages where mc normaly would have struggled with regular people so that he could stand toe to toe with the higher powers of the world faster. It's just an authors choice and not bad either way but it did happen. Since by normal progressing mc should have been struggling to gain fragments like everyone else when the time limit wore off.
