I Shall Be Everlasting In the World of Immortals

The slow and humble pace is nice and refreshing, one of the better cultivation novels for sure. I generally don't like when romance is introduced, there are too many examples when its handled poorly. But the casual and mature nature of the relationships was very enjoyable at the start. Later though it started to get annoying, every girl that even glanced at the mc immediately wanted to spread their legs. It simply didn't fit well with the nature of the mc, he has seen through multiple lifetimes and is hardly moved by momentary temptation, few casual sessions would't hurt, but at some point it felt like he was going at it with some random girl every few chapters just for the pleasure and nothing else. It didn't make the book any better at that point, and felt like author was only trying to please fans. Mc was also a bit lacking in emotion, but still an exceptionally good novel overall

Is it just me? Cause I absolutely love the fleeting romance and the main character's philosophy in this life. I also liked how smart MC is and calculates before making a decision, I hope they incorporate more abilities to MC's wisdom and intelligence like enlightened scholarly mist in Paragon of Sin 🙏

Absolutely peak Not repetitive at all, and its a refreshing break from 99% of Xianxia that is filled with arrogant young masters (none here) People actually act their age (imagine 100 year old core formation “arrogant young master”… yeah it’s a joke, and doesn’t exist here) Well paced, similar to A record of a mortals journey to immortality but imo it’s better (Also no stupid romance)

I've literally nothing to nitpick, its not a masterpiece but given his genre, its a smooth and enjoyable read. The Mc kinda gives off Meng Hao/Fang Yuan vibes. Its nice that starting characters arent forgotten and that villains/friends behave rationally. My favorite character is the rat demon.

Steady and enjoyable cultivation novel , this novel have a unique taste with smart and cautious mc , if you like high level action novel then this novel is novel for you , but if you like a cultivation novel with almost no brain rote scenarios ( its hard to find cultivation novel like that ) then give this novel a try .

MC is a real human, he has desires and goals, and a Lot of discipline and self control to reach his life goal. That being Said i think the MC is reality warping Lucky, most of the things go his way

I would like to say, it is the best of it's kind if you know what I mean. The plot is great, the storyline is good, mc is stable and not like your typical chinese mc in the same genre. No harem, NO HAREM. , HOW GOOD IS IT. no force plot or ridiculous plot armour. Overall even though it is not a masterpiece, it is great to read

I have read the MTL until 438 (NO SPOILER) yes, the mc is quite slow in cultivation, but do keep in mind the strongest in most area are only nascent soul mid-high level with EXTREMELY LOW God Transformation Stage. His character is consistent throughout the novel, do not expect him to change his personality (DUDE IS LITERALLY IN HIS THIRD LIFE) so he got plenty of character development. so if you dont like him in the first 100 chapters, you will probably not like him after that.

Quite a breath of fresh air for a cultivation novel (start). . . how do I say it? The world feels very grounded for a cultivation novel, like what most cultivation worlds would look like from the POV of an average cultivator living in a standard era. No world shaterring events, no golden generation of miracles, no apocalypse to worry about (for now at least). And yet. . . interesting things just keep happening solely due to the fact that this is a cultivation world, and the MC- rather than getting involved directly, just cautiously fishes for benefits whenever possible. There is no heaven's chosen, randomly going around getting involved in everything- just different people each with their own motivations, goals, and circumstances. The golden finger here is a small plot device (might as well not exist actually) that might grow bigger later.

I really love this novel, the protagonist is very stable and carefree. Accumulating strength over decades and centuries. No face slapping or treasure hunting or jade beauties. Reading it is just so calming and smoothing
