    There is a sorta over arching story going on that the author planned out in the info given that wouldn’t happen in an actual book written by a regressor because obviously some things you learn later on in the short stories aren't just some freaking little new anomaly but actually something that explains and reconstructs the entire thing (Mastermind arc) and provide actual progression and development . In the beginning you can kinda think of each outer god as an arc in the story.

    The chronology killed it for me. I am all for experimental story telling. But constantly going through chapters of time going forward and back just made the story unappealing to me. I respect what it was going for though

      I guess you just read it in a wrong way. Never Binge read this NEVER, just read one story every day trust me it's 100 times more enjoyable that way. Its a new way if writing so you should also read it in a new way

      there is no news about it from author. Why wait on a very good novel only to read sh*ts to satiate your hunger. I am sure that people who say that they will wait for a novel to end then only read will NEVER COME BACK, a lot can happen in a year. Its all b*llsh*t talk ME myself waited till the end of 3rd nightmare to read SS but never picked it up now.

        Shadow slave really falls off in quality after 3rd nightmare(barely any lore development and world building, very corny and forced romance and ungodly amount of filler for 400+ chapters), but since it was really consistent for so long, there still is a chance that it can make a comeback if author takes a break to plan sh*t out.

        In starting of Romance it was somewhat forced but now it's better. Cuz we are h0rny. Yeah but SS is good. I forced myself to read 3rd nightmare but from next arc is where that I liked SS more

    wonder what is people ch tier list from this novel since there are a lot that could be consider amazing and there are so many of them P.S just realized why this novel is so good its from the same author of sss-class suicide hunter tho it does make me fear its ending

      This story is better than sss hunter and as the first chaoter said it's not a story of success but series of failures. This novel has the best climaxes ever.

    I stopped this a while ago just to stuck up chapters and now I’m trying to read it but I don’t know who’s who I just know undertaker the the saint and the one who must not be named the pink entity so I would appreciate it if someone could remind me of their names and Roles just the main ones by the way the last character appeared for me was the disciple of undertaker
