i’ve read till chapter 720 and here’s my review. If you’re planning on reading this then Don’t read the comments yet. When i read the comments it was about people saying novel is bad, mc is the worst character in fiction bla bla bla. This novel is GREAT. it’s very very great Great lore, great power system, great characters PLEASE READ THIS. - Now onto the mc, mc is a bad person but a good character. He is a hypocrite but not in the sense like the chinese cultivation novels. - minor spoiler, mc is trying to make humanity better so he’s thinking is that “ i can kill 1 person to save 2” or “ the end justifies the means” that’s all i can say. - But honestly don’t let some comment demotivate you into not reading. I almost missed out on Peak because of them. 7.5/10 novel
If you’re thinking about starting. Just power through the first section of the story. Yes it’s depressing. Yes mc is probably going to p*ss you off . Definitely worth it though.
Well I want to continue reading this again from inbetween but I don't remember the chapter exactly I was there reading when Mc had just accidentally released a 5 level specter which ate half of city and nearly all poor people and he was at level 3 something and reconstruction of city had just begun
