    novel is good but the mc is the only one that's really important to the story. all of the buildup of 1k chapters were just wasted at the end. his friends and sh*t didn't even do anything. all the abilities he got throughout his journey didn't amount to anything. great novel but could've been better

      True! But what's truly important is what comes after LITOW, as we can all see in SGWM and possibly KTS in the future. . Maybe there's more to it, Warmaisach's novels don't really have a true ending to them, yet.

    going to start reading this today. the only reason I've been putting this of is because of the synopsis.its said that the lightning of the heavens is the most powerful thing or ability. so naturally the bar became very low so i didn't want to read it anymore but now I don't have an option. every other novel I turn to is somehow sh*t so hope this one satisfies me

    09/09/2024 what a wonderful journey i have spent since april 2024 THIS is the kind of novels along with LOTM and SHADOW SLAVE and SGIAWOM and RAGS and WSISBAV or TAPOV that actually makes you read novels and enjoy them not forgetting the OG warmaisach that is stilll cooking for the Finale of his novel. i gotta say G3 you got competition. if you ask me if you should read this novel, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR

    I finished the sword of the god in the magic world and I feel suffocated from crying a lot with pain and mental fatigue so is this novel dark and depressing like the other one? What about the character of the mc because I am tired from all my mind because of Shang

        SGWM is literally the same as LITOW, but with no reward at all due to the knowledge of the LITOW ending, everything that Shang did has no reward. . Wouldn't that make LITOW better? Readers should know that the path Shang took leads to nothingness and will hit a wall soon enough, unless he changes for the better. . Basically, having knowledge of the LITOW ending makes SGWM worse, but it doesn't ruin the enjoyment of going through it, though.

    Excellent novel, but not for me. Just putting this there for those who are like me. The novel is very real. I like a healthy dose of reality with a healthy dose of fantasy as well. The interactions between the characters, the situations drawn up by the author, the dilemmas faced by the MC are all based in reality and very humane. Those who use books as an escape from the real world, probably won't like it. There was no satisfaction for me reading as milestones were reached. I won't specify why to avoid straying into spoiler territory. The ending is very real too and as much as it closed off the book very well, I was left utterly dissatisfied by it. Oh also, if you leave a somewhat neutral or negative comment about literally anything in the book, be prepared to be attacked by fanboys of the novel. I'm sure this will be getting dislikes as well but sue me, I don't care

    I stopped reading SGWM at some point because it's making me depressed. I guess I'll start here before I return to that gray world. If you want to learn how to not get attached to characters then read Sword God in the World of Magic recommend 👍

      SGIWOM only has minor interaction with this world and that too at the end i dont think you will have any issues, sail ahead

        HUGE DIFFERENCE in mc. wont spoil it for you but they are kinda the opposite in a lot of things and i believe SGIAWOM was made as like a what if the LITOW mc was depressed and oppressed and didnt have someone who supports them and no friends and stuff. so in conclusion finish SGIAWOM then read LITOW and you will like it especially the last 100 chapters of it.
