read it, you will enjoy if u are new to this genre. if u have read ss, ri, lotm and others most likely u wont enjoy it since this is mid cultivation novel but still a nice one. if u have competed this novel u can try ss2(ongoing - try audiobook on yt as its easy to find) and lord xue ying (sequel)
Not sure if I commented this but In anime, the golden beast looks like a black scaled draconic rhinocorous with golden horn, he has dragon claws, sharp menacing teeth, 4 eyes with 2 eyes on the right and left (season 4 ep 2)
Guys have you watched its donghua?? Should I watch it or read the novel? I've heard it has a great adoption 🤔
So a couple of years back I noticed swallowed star and decided to read. I liked the premise but didn't like the Translation and the writing so I dropped. I saw some snippets of the donghua recently and I was like "there is no way that was the same thing that I read" and so I checked out the novel again-still with the awful translation- I couldn't get into it. Looking for advice does the novel get better writing or should I just watch the show then continue where it left off?
Guys Swallowed Star 2 has been released i havent read yet and there about 150 chaps its prolly not as good as the first but if you read the 1st you can try the 2nd.
Guys should I read this or watch donghua? Edit: Well I watched the donghua and man, it was amazing. Now I will be reading it. 1) Why Babata is a male?!!!!!
Sigh… alright I’ve read 300 chapters. This is one of the few times where the entire novels grammar is wrong that it WILL fool you into thinking that thats the norm. Imagine the translation process into three steps. First understand the chinese letters; second translate it into english words; third arrange the words in the correct order. The translator basically forgot the third step. The wording is mostly “You are alright?” Instead of “Are you alright?” Yep this is the case for 99% of the novel. Also the tenses are interchanged from future to past to present. It’s like dr strange from different timelines translating at the same time. Just use the skimming technique and slow down if there are new words then skim again lol. Also don’t get too emotionally stirred. Think of the last book you’ve read and think of his plot armor. Then think of the last 20 books you’ve read and remember their plot armor too. Combine that and multiply it to 100. Thats how heavy mc’s plot armor is.
I thought other MC’s had broken plot armor, this one? Way too much. There are no gaps within this indomitable plot armor. Even each toe gap is filled with the thickest adamantium of plot armor. No holes within the ears eyes and nose. Even has an unpassable mouth guard. Ngl it did start pretty tame but d*mn the plot armor is growing with mc.
Don't listen to the comments and read it. it's one of the best novel I have read and also was my starting novel.+ No harem To these guys that are saying that there's some racism in the novel. Do you guys. think you aren't racist ? It's not the whole story is racism just some parts are and while reading it you wouldn't even notice it 🤷 I still can't find a novel like this with si fi and cultivation mixed if anyone knows a novel like this one then please recommend 🙂
