    After binging 150 chapters straight, I still had no idea why the title says "deceased" I looked at NU and an alternate title was Academy's stagnant water (top player of a game) ... so it kinda makes sense that the title meaning was lost in the ambiguous translation in such a way. Anyways mystery solved. Eh, its an okay read. Had potential but the writing kinda fell off IMO

      In chapter 0 he says ''I played this game to the point i was called Deceased(Stagnant Water)'' Not really sure why he put ''Stagnant Water'' in between ( * ) instead of using it directly, but well.

    Is this novel dropped. I keep on trying to look for a decent academy novel without a harem but for some reason they are all dropped by the translators.

        Yeah, Demon Prince might feel like it has that sort of writing but its just because the pace of the story is slow. But in the 2nd half, it gets so heavy its just not that chill anymore

    The story reads like an expanded outline describing a large amount of meaningless actions and thoughts of the MC. If you don't make your own logical leaps and imagine some other world you've already read about, then it's mostly a confusing and somewhat blank story. There's like 25-50% actual content and the rest of it is rambling nonsense about irrelevant daily actions like a kid telling their parent about their day at school. It's painful on the eyes. Every sentence is short. Each of those sentences is a tiny paragraph by itself with linebreaks. It is annoying. Also, it's written in first-person POV with thought bubbles mixed in which makes absolutely no sense when they're not head-hopping into psychic author territory. First-person POV is already that character's thoughts. Why get weird with thoughtception? It makes the formatting atrocious.

      Finally someone can describe it. I was also quite confused by the strange change in POV. Moreover, it is difficult to get a depiction of the world with these writings
