The quality of writing almost on par with RI. . . The story and world building has no influence of typical eastern martial art novel such as murim or immortal martial arts(Im not racist as im an asian that live in Asia continent. . . Im probably more asian than any Asian-American u might know). . . Its hype is different from reading RI but still mind blowing. . . The author explained the process of each martial art like he is a physicist that on par with Einstein (even though im not understand some of it). I think author is a part time scientist. . . This sh*ts is worth every single second time i spent on it. . . Yeah not gonna help me in my college but still worth it. Yeah it's quite slow as I have read more than 1000 chapter he still at the middle of the world in terms of power but the process is what make the reading more enjoyable. (Btw im at chapter 1062 and still reading)

This is an interesting novel to read. The vibe is similar to Naruto in some cases later in the novel too (Missions, mercenary type of work, training arcs, characters). I would note that some parts do get kind of repetitive and lackluster. I would compare some of the parts to One Piece fillers, but I personally read through them anyway and still enjoyed it. There is entertaining foreshadowing and in depth explanations throughout the novel. Personally, I really enjoy the novel despite the "rough around the edges" grammar and repetitive statements in the writing. I would rate this 5 stars if there was more care in the quality, such as proof reading chapters. (I don't know if that is the Author's fault, or whoever copy and pasted this novel over. )

uses the word banter every chapter. To enjoy reading you have to skim/skip every exposition dump chapter. for example: there is 2 chapters solely dedicated to explaining how the different missions martial students can take are classified. 2 chapters spent explaining a system that could be summarized in 2 sentences.

good read unique world building and power concept, the MC is not a pscyco with family problem and doubke standard ancthe best part is the MC had good ambition(not some insignigicant reason as to become strong for an inconsecuental revenge). well there many over explanation in the early chapter but still overall good story👍

First of all the novel is very slow paced, so if you don’t like slow paced novels or don’t have a lot of patience, I wouldn’t recommend this one. There’s a lot, and I mean a lot, of world building and explaining. Everything is very well explained and detailed. It is a well written novel, I haven’t seen or noticed a single plothole, but I did enjoy reading this novel a lot so I might have just missed it whilst I was speeding through the novel. I know that most people expect a lot of fighting from this novel, which I understand, but there isn’t as much as most people hoped for. Imo it’s more like a slice of life, of the MC, and we just witness how he grows and becomes stronger. But that’s only at the beginning, if I don’t remember wrong, somewhere around chapter 800 MC starts to fight/travel way more than before. The info dumps are brutal for most, I enjoy info dumps, but even for me some were just too much. Most just skip them, but if you’re going to read this, I recommend skimming through some chapters if you get bored. The chapters are kinda short, so I don’t think it’s really necessary to skim or skip anything, but most did skim or skip a lot of chapters. And before you read all the other reviews, just look at the chapter that they are in, almost everyone who is past chapter 1500+ gave it 4 or 5 stars, it's not as bad as most people say it is but it's also not as good. But just don’t listen to the people who have only read 100 or 200 chapters, that's not nearly enough to accurately rate/review a novel that has 2000+ chapters. Also very important, the writing at the beginning is bad, especially during fights, but it gets better. Have fun reading :)

This novel is incredibly slow paced. That's the most important thing to know going in. Its a martial arts novel where the first fight happens around 100 chapters in (not counting friendly spars) Part of that is due to the info dumps. In other novels you may find a couple of paragraphs and think it's a large info dump. In this novel you will find they can be a couple of chapters long. Worse they are usually rather meaningless, with no relevance to anything approaching plot. So unless you like them just for flavour, you may want to avoid. Speaking of plot. at chapter 100, there hasn't really been any yet that you couldn't get from the 7 line summary. It's a fairly straight forward account of martial area training. A roller-coaster of twisting narratives this is not. For the good points, the writing and translation are competent. So there's no struggle to read this. The few side characters are also developing well, with distinct personalities and interactions with each other. Rather than NPCs who only exist when the MC talks to them. All in all its OK so far. Nothing to shout about.

I found this novel to be an engaging and dynamic web novel. The story does a fantastic job blending martial arts with a well-thought-out cultivation system and real scientific theories. The fight scenes are vivid and intense, keeping you on the edge of your seat, while the protagonist's journey is inspiring, showing real character development as he grows stronger both mentally and physically. What I enjoyed most was the balance between action and world-building. The unique powers and detailed martial arts styles give the world depth and intrigue. However, the pacing can be a bit slow at times, with certain arcs feeling drawn out. Overall, Martial Unity offers a compelling narrative for fans of martial arts and cultivation novels, with an exciting protagonist and a well-structured universe that keeps you coming back for more. This Sh!t's buzzing and fr worth a try

I am not sure how it got such a good rating. It's average. Not too bad. Definitely not good. If you are bored and have nothing else to read, then go for it. Grammar: Good-ish. It's not to the point that you need to ponder what could have been meant as it is with some chinese novels. Then again, names misspelled is the most forgivable. Sometimes the sentence just decides to repeat itself in the middle of itself. Sounds weird? Yeah, it is. But one can still understand it, hence: Good-ish. Plot: Shallow to non-existent. Yes he got in another world. Yes that world has it's own setting. Yes the MC wants to practice Martial Arts. But that's basically where it ends. Everything else is just either non-existent or irrelevant for the story. Does MC have friends? Doesn't feel like it. But apparently he does! And more than one. It's just that only two of those friends actually got any longer chapter-time. But only to the point that you know their name, a bit of their skills, and a reason why they pursue Martial Arts. That's it. Nothing more. Sure they are all at one point at a mission together. But you only read about MC and one of the friends in actual combat together. And that is just something like MC fights enemies - explanation in detail - followed by a "and they both wrecked the enemies". Info-dumps: Too manny. Far too many. The first 100 chapters could have easily been 30-50 chapters. But they are not, cause of repeated info-dumps. Info-dumps that add little to the actual story. MC ponders in an inner monologue about the same stuff repeatedly. The best part? As said: Repeated info-dumps. Not just in the sense that you frequently get info-dumps, but that they at least to some degree repeat each other. Some even over and over again. And over and over. Fillers: Check. Yeah, checked for sure. One example are how MC learns skills. So. . . MC learns new skills? Let me just write down his inner thoughts, the names of the skills, a long description of the skills. Let the MC ponder some more. You know what? He just picks a few of those. Are they learnt yet? Heck no. Let him train them. Easy, right? Nope. You get an explanation how it's trained. Why it's trained that way. What MC thinks about the training. A comparison to his earth-life. Then the actual training part. Done. Ah wait. . . no. Repeat that for each skill he chose. Approx. 1-1. 5 chapters for each skill minimum! You know what? He leveled up and needs to learn new skills OR relearn his old ones for the new level, since they differ a bit. Guess what?! Re-describing them. Re-evaluating them. Re-inner-monologue. Re-learning them. Yes, those are actual chapters. You read corretly: Chapters. Not just one or two. Multiple chapters. In total I would say it feels like approximately about 10 chapters each 100 chapters is just wasted with MC learning/relearning/evaluating possible skill options himself. As said initially: It's an okay-ish read, but boring as hell. I don't get how it's rated so good, but maybe some people just like stories this way. For me personally it's one of the most boring stories I read in a long while. I will - at least for now - drop it where I currently am (Chapter 533). I would rate it 2. 5 if I could, since it is still readable and I could imagine that if I got nothing else to do/read, I might actually read it. Even though then with skimming and possibly skipping some chapters. Since I cannot though: 2/5.

Honestly, I'm going to parrot what others have pointed out, some chapters are outright pointless; and serve only to increase chapter count. Hell, there are 3 chapters called "Choices" "Have it Now" Decisions". Numbered 125, 126, and 127 that is just talking about martial arts manuals. In "Choices" he already narrowed it down to what he wanted, then the author spent another chapter explaining what the manuals do, to then spend another chapter doing some more explaining before having his "Decision". Even for a web novel, that's just ridiculous to not condense that into one chapter, or two at most. The author does this for thousands of chapters. That isn't to say the novel is "bad", because of that, but it is a serious gripe of mine. All things considered, this isn't the worst "martial arts" web novel I've ever read, but it doesn't even come close to the best. I'd give it 2. 5/5 for at least trying to be original. It's a decent time killer for those interested.

There’s detail and then there’s fluff. The writer likes to explain a lot of concepts and abilities that are made to seem important but will never be brought up again, or worse, contradicted a bit later. And that’s basically 90% of the novel, with a dozen chapters of explanation of miscellaneous concepts between meaningful events. I enjoy lengthy explanations and plot-relevant detail - my favorite scenes in LOTM are just Klein sitting and thinking through what just happened. But this has to be some of the worst pacing I’ve ever read, and you can tell something’s wrong when half the comments under the early chapters are telling you to skim instead of read. There’s also very little attention to characterization, the MC gets a bit sometimes, but even that’s inconsistently written. Side characters are exclusively cardboard cutouts otherwise. Like they’re not even trope-y, they’re just there.
