Great novel, but underappreciated by the ****** of this site that read *****. . It follows the rise of a family of peasants to a powerful cultivator clan through generations showing all the struggle, sacrifices and what it takes to reach there. What triggers this change is finding a cultivation treasure, the mirror, whose artifact spirit awakens memories of a past life on Earth and chooses to not reveal itself to anyone. . World building, plot, character interactions are realistic. Many emotional moments. Highly recommended.
Similar as in looking for a good sims type novel: The Nebula’s Civilisation, not on this site. Was feeling kind tdy. Yw.

I’ve caught up for a while now. Decent novel, great at some parts and with a pacing that gets better after initial slump. . The recent arc I don’t like, perhaps it’s because of the feeling of redundancy. The novel doesn’t really evoke very strong feelings from me but judging from other comments, I should be a more isolated case. . If you’re looking for an interesting slow burner with rather engaging and developed characters, this novel may be for you.
