    Overall, a really good read. I really loved the characters, their depth, and how, even if a bit predictable, the story unfolded. The MC is truly a change of pace that left me a great impresion and hunger for more dubious and morally grey heroes. Maybe the only nitpick I have is that the build-ups were a bit long, but the pay offs were in general worth it. I think there were also some missed opportunities related to inclusion of minorities, like Til and Nick could've been a great gay relationship for example, but I don't really expect that in this kind of novels (even if it would be nice to have). 9/10. Really loved the progress of my husband Hans <3

        Manhwas, Manhuas, and Mangas are always bad adaptations, i stopped reading adaptations after so many disappointments

        Yes, the manhwa is not good. Mid at most. The illustration is not as graphic or even that interesting. Zich and other characters personalities are not conveyed well either IMO. Some plots or how it happened are changed, quite disappointed tbh

    Nah, this was good. Of course if you’ve read many novels with the same setting you’ll find it boring and repetitive but I found myself laughing many times cause the mc is hilarious and his thought process is weird but enjoyable.

        Oh-uh, u know I’ve read many novels that I can only remember that u mentioned the MC but not idea who the other girl is…as far as i remember the only real villain was the one who everyone considered the hero. Also not fun if I keep spoiling you! Nice profile pic though.

        Oh, that depends…but I really recommend deep sea embers, LOTM and the second book COI, the ex ranks role player at a prestigious academy (don’t read it on this site cause the translation is bad, but other site has a great/fantastic translation!) return of the mount Hua sect, Throne of magical arcana, ending maker, perfect run, mother of learning, tapov, trash of the counts family, beware of chicken…mmmm perhaps there’s more im missing but I hope this is enough for u at the moment!

    If you ask me what I think about this novel, then I would say it's alright. If you have nothing else to read or if you waiting for your favorite novel to update. Then this would help you quickly pass the time.
