Summary

Aihara Runa was a person who had been living in hell of misfortune. One day she found herself in a strange stage, apparently her soul was reaped without permission and sold at an auction to gods from another world along with her 28 classmates. But there was a trouble, it seems that Aihara’s soul was extremely smelly and stinky. Instead of getting a buyer, she was thrown away and with her soul in danger of disappearing.

However, when her soul was about disappear, she met an unnamed goddess who claimed herself as a god’s vessel. The goddess said that she can help Aihara to get reincarnated but with one condition, that is to bring her along and get reincarnated together. Aihara who was about disappeared accepted the goddess’ condition and got reincarnated successfully as Emmy. But apparently, the hard life still continued even after reincarnated too….

If there’s no food, then let’s get some bugs!!! Let’s just enjoy this hard life together with the reliable partner [Omake-sama] inside my head and have fun instead.

As Emmy managed to survive while watching and getting involved in the events of another cheat reincarnations, she grew into an irregular. This is a story about Emmy, a soul who managed to survive from disposal by gods. However, she doesn’t know that her reincarnation did not list in fate’s archive and unconsciously broke the gods’ scenario one after another.

I always have high expectations for a novel in which the comment section is divided. And I loved it. So this is a tragedy, to say the least. The author makes an amazing job at conveying Emi's feelings, her rage, sadness and everything around her. Not the most character development, but as someone who is interested in the psyche, seeing her circumstances, I don't find any reason as to why she wouldn't act that way. The trope is good, the pace is kinda slow, sadly some parts are dragged on, but each arc is interesting. Out of the past 7 arcs (again, I'm around chapter 100), 5 are amazing - history wise, 1 almost made me brake my screen, and the current one is pretty solid. My only complain is the world building, which to be honest is kinda non-existent, we only know black hair and black eyes is despised, but there's a cool theory I saw in the comments as to why that's the case. And yes it's annoying.

This is the first novel on this site that I've read to 100%, and it's probably my favorite on here. I love this story a lot, it's just an enjoyable read. I would recommend this novel. I do have a few critiques, like the quite insane usage of the term "jet-black", and the fact that the main character does nothing against the discrimination she receives. However, I still think it is an amazing novel, and deserving of everyone's read.

Does the author actually explain why everyone hates black haired children bc the discrimination needs a backstory and will the MC learn how to defend herself instead of just taking it silently. She is no *d**t so why does she let people treat her that way when she is strong

The author half explain the discrimination but keep its origin a mystery. As for Emi she becomes so strong that she can ignore the discrimination but her core character wont change. She accepted the discrimination and does her things mostly in solo. There wont be more revolting arcs like that one village with the evil receptionist.

Good arc 6 was really frustrating but I hope that Emi isn't discriminated against just bc of her hair color. The author needs a convincing reason why everyone is against a child. Even the gods dislike cursed children so there must be a deeper reason

I like how the "Comedy" and "Tragedy" Tags are on the same novel

They say that comedy is just tragedy + time so... But tbh idk where this comedy tag is from. It has some kind of parody element once in 10 chapters but there isn't much of a humor in it.

Comedy is typically harmless violations of something. The gods sabotaging themselves could be considered funny as it doesn't harm the MC. The MC's behaviour that doesn't follow common sense also often creates unconventional situations that could be interpreted as funny. There is also the lighted hearted, 'don't care' writing style that complements the story. But not everyone has the same funny bone.

If you're normal human being who become angry from seeing injustice in front of them dont read this piece of garbage. At this point I dont know what can you call this. Hate w*nk or anger masturbation. This the problem I have with japanese authors they can write good SoL novels but when come topics like that their brain stop and nothing make sense anymore

?? what does that even mean? as for the injustice, it is understandable but I don't think Emi can solve it in an arc or two. She will probably will have to deal with the gods and broadcast a public apology or something...which ain't happening anytime soon.

Alright. But for me the author hasn't crossed a certain line and Emi is getting stronger so I still have hope.

Yeah, I'm stopping at 102, the novel is weird, the first few arc is nice, then it just spiral down the rabbit hole of 'wtf is this, why is this happening'. Fmc bassically a push over with enough strength to decimate sacred beast, multiple boss monsters and a 100+ monsters stampee alone. If the situation improve at the latter chapter, do let me know.

quite fun, this is the 4th novel I read with fmc. All the other 3 are good. It’s good if the writing is good, regardless of mc is male or female

Can you reprimand me for these works? I've never read anything like that and I agree with you: a good work is a good work, regardless of the genre.
