Summary

What happens when a scientist from a futuristic world reincarnates in a World of Magic and Knights? An awesome MC is what happens! A scientist’s goal is to explore the secrets of the universe, and this is exactly what Leylin sets out to do when he is reincarnated. Dark, cold and calculating, he makes use of all his resources as he sets off on his adventures to meet his goal. Face? Who needs that… Hmmm… that guy seems too powerful for me to take on now… I better keep a low profile for now. You want me to help you? Sure… but what benefit can I get out of it? Nothing? Bye. Hmmm… that guy looks like he might cause me problems in the future. Should I let him off for now and let him grow into someone that can threaten me….. Nahhh. *kill*-

Alternative: Leylin is transported from an advanced technological era into a medieval world— except there’s magic. Equipped with “only” his quick wits and an A.I. chip fused to his soul, he sets out to become the most powerful magus the world has ever known. In a land divided into the Light and Dark Magi, the weak can either be cattle or disposable slaves. Only the strong can determine their lives, and only they have the luxury for virtue. Yet strength is only a tool for Leylin, like any other. His goal, in the end, is his own.

Thinking back... It really wasn't bad, although there were some heavy arcs that forced me to pause for a few days, but overall it's fine, I'll tell you in advance, don't expect anything from the world of shadows, it disappointed us all tremendously.

Not a bad novel imo . Starting was solid . But u do need to skim through chapters to get to good parts after some 500 chapters , now I just come read 50-100 chapters whenever I have nothing to read .

If you want a novel where there is a ruthless protagonist, but at the same time intelligent to hide his thoughts, this is your novel. It is true that it opens heavy arches or small mini arches that are unnecessary, but they are distracting. As a reader of this great novel I tell you, prepare yourselves to see the cruelty of power of, "A Magus"

This novel feels so empty and meaningless. The relationships hardly play a role in this novel. From my point of view, the MC is completely repulsive when it comes to women and moral, especially in the beginning. And the whole time, he wastes time doing things that will hardly have any benefit. Also, none of the wizard continent was utilized, and the fact that the continent wasn't built up with characters just made it boring. It felt like a typical eastern novel with a self-centered MC, and the side characters only appear briefly and disappear meaninglessly. On the other hand, it has good western elements that bring in other characters, but even that is so poorly done.

Aight enough is enough, I'm not continuing this, I'm fairly certain that my brain will completely rot if I keep reading it. This is a 3/10 and it only gets that 3 because the premise is great. Everything else is just trash. The author can't decide if he wants his mc to be a bad guy or not. Bro's okay with slavery, human experimentation, rape etc but no he must return the favor if someone is good to him. And the worst part is every time he does something bad the author tries to explain it is because of benefits etc and the problem is that he does this EVERY D*MN TIME. "oh I'll do this bad thing" bam, five paragraphs on why he does it cause of benefits, next chapter he does another bad thing, bam, five more paragraphs explaining the same thing, bro WE GET IT. The author keeps repeating himself and he does it again and again and again, like I'm trying to read past that I really am but holy **** is this infuriating. It's like reading a dictionary about a fictional story, instead of one

Before starting this novel, I asked a question: Which one was better between this novel and "THRONE OF MAGICAL ARCANA"? Now I have finished this novel. And I would like to share my views with you. While TOMA uses science as we know it, this novel includes the methods of science and people's desire for discovery and curiosity. If we compare the suspense of the two novels, TOMA generally follows the same pace, while the first and last parts of this novel were quite boring. But there were many good parts in this novel. There are parts of its story that surpass TOMA in many ways. In short: TOMA is a positive constant function. WOMW is a parabola with ∆>0 and a>0

When I think about Warlock of the Magus World and Throne of Magical Arcana, I remember The Wizard World which was a very good novel too of the same style.

I haven't read it yet, but I'll put it on my list. Thanks for the recommendation.

      so TOMA would be like y = 2x + b, and WOMW would be like y = (sin x)/x?

In this case, you can give negative value to both of them, which I don't think they deserve. (In the coordinate plane)
